Meals

The Tournament Organizing Committee has learned the importance of dinner from previous tournaments. The meal packages we offer will thus be tailored to fit the needs of the hungry ultimate player. The dinner packages include 6 dinners and the breakfast package 8 breakfasts. All meals are all-you-can-eat buffets with various options.

There will be two different dinner options available: premium and budget. Both include 6 dinners (from August 1st to August 6th).

Dinner (premium)

The premium dinner package is a three-course all-you-can-eat feast at the Tournament Restaurant located in the middle of the Player Services Center. The menu is specifically designed for ultimate players and cleverly combines specialities from all over the world.

The menu changes daily and consists of:

2 or 3 various sallads
Soup of the day
Fresh bread
2 or 3 diverse main course options including vegetarian specialities
Special diet alternatives
Dessert
Coffee or tea

Dinner (budget)

The budget dinner package is an all-you-can-eat meal at Kupittaa stadium, located close to the main tournament site.

The menu includes:

Salad and bread
A main course with vegetarian option

The breakfast package includes 8 breakfasts (from August 1st to August 8th). Notice, that accommodation packages A through F already include breakfast.

For guts players, the package includes 5 breakfasts (from August 3nd to August 7th).

Breakfast is a versatile all-you-can-eat buffet served at the Tournament Restaurant. It includes:

Coffe and tea
Juice
Breads
Fruit and vegetables
Various cold cuts and cheese
Yoghurt and milk

The WUGC2004 Tournament Restaurant

At Kupittaa, the heart of the tournament area is the Player Services Center, hosting all services such as the tournament office, the medical center, the player lounge and the media center. The heart of the Player Services Center, on the other hand, is the WUGC2004 Tournament Restaurant. It is a 700-seat living room temporarily built especially for this tournament in the middle of an indoor track-and-field arena. Premium dinner and breakfast will be served here, and at all other times the restaurant offers a variety of snacks, meals and tasty beverages.

The restaurant will be open each day before the games start and stay open still some time after playing hours. In addition, it will be the primary, but not only, location of tournament festivities.
