Accommodation

Accommodations are divided into categories. Each category corresponds to a type of accommodation of a certain level of comfort and service. There may be one or more hotels, hostels or other accommodators that are similar within a category. The TOC will allocate people so that teams are kept together and so that bus logistics are optimized. Special wishes are naturally also respected.

Every package, except category G (school accommodation), has the following features:

8 nights from July 31th to August 8th, 2004
Plentiful buffet breakfast
Daily bus transportation from and to fields
Double occupancy
Bathroom with shower in room
Free parking

There are separate packages for guts players. The guts tournament begins on Tuesday, August 3rd and lasts until Friday, August 6th. Therefore guts packages include only 5 nights from August 2nd to August 7th. Otherwise guts packages are no different.

They are full service four-star hotels at very central locations in downtown Turku. These hotels have exercise rooms, bars and restaurants. The breakfast buffet at these places will blow your mind.
B	400€ ^{Guts: 250€}	0	Spa Hotel (**) Well equipped room (TV, etc.) Includes access to spa Recommended for families*! This is a special option as you will be staying at one of the spa hotels of Turku. In addition to a full-service four-star hotel you will have free access to a water paradise with pools, hotbaths, saunas, slides, excerice room and more. We recommend this option if you are travelling with children.* Like option A, option B features a mind-blowing breakfast buffet. The spa hotel is located 2 km from downtown Turku.
C	400€ ^{Guts: 250€}	some	Hotel (****) Well equipped room (TV, etc.) Excellent location This option features high quality three-star or four-star hotels located in downtown Turku. These are slightly smaller hotels than in option A but are still of high comfort. This option is similar in comfort to option B, but what it lacks in swimming pools, it makes up in location. At these hotels you have all the shops and services of downtown Turku at your fingertips.
D	350€ ^{Guts: 218.75€}	0	Hotel ( or *) Well equipped room (TV, etc.) Excellent location These are somewhat smaller two-star and three-star hotels in downtown Turku. Good basic services and very comfortable.
E	300€ ^{Guts: 187.50€}	0	Hotel ( or *) Well equipped room (TV, etc.) Good location These hotels are otherwise similar to category D hotels, except that they are located somewhat (2 or 3 km) outside town center.
F	250€ ^{Guts: 156.25€}	0	Hostel or dorm This category is comprised of a variety of small hostels or dormitories. These alternatives offer basic accommodation and breakfast services but no extras. All rooms have bathrooms, sheets and towels nonetheless.
G	50€ ^{Guts: 40€}	some	8 nights from July 31th to August 8th, 2004 School close to Kupittaa Floor space + simple mattress Access to kitchen and showers Daily bus transportation from and to fields Breakfast not included As the least expensive lodging alternative, we offer a school very close to Kupittaa fields. We will provide simple camping or gym mattresses. You will also have access to common showers and a common kitchen. This category does not include breakfast, see meal packages for separate breakfast package.

Camping will not be possible during WUGC2004, as there are no suitable camping sites, nor suitable places for a temporary camping site, nearby.
