Profile

Guayota is the team from Tenerife in the Canary Islands, but this Mixed team is from all over Spain, mostly Tenerife but also Barcelona and Madrid. The logo is so cool, however, that it had to be put in the profile.

Ultimate has been slow to come to Spain but it has taken hold as a beach sport for many of the players. As the University towns like Barcelona and Madrid continue to keep playing you can expect more teams and more experienced players for the future.

Many of the players here at Worlds have been playing together for three or four years now. One thing is for sure, they will be adept at handling any adversity with the wind.

Our team has players from Patatas Bravas, Atis Tirma, Guayotas, Quijotes, Discterics.

Worlds Experience

Heilbronn in Open, playing with women on our team, I think we finished 26th, but I am not sure.

Major Tournaments Won

One of our players was in the Paganello final 2004 with Sexxxpensive(2nd). And some of them finished 8th in co-ed in Paganello 2004. And also finished 2nd and 4th in different years in a Geneva tournament
