Ireland open

Profile

This is not Ireland’s first International tournament, but they are relatively new to the competitive Ultimate scene. For Worlds they are sending an entirely new team to gain invaluable experience, and they will likely not be able to match depth and talent with many of the teams they will be facing.

As evidence by their rather caustic answers to our questions it is clear that the ban on smoking cigarettes in pubs has caused some great anger among many of Irish persuasion.

This year’s Irish Squad consists of 11 players with under 2 years of playing experience.  We hope that this sets Ireland a good base to work from in events to come.
