Germany junior open

Profile
Germany in general has not been as strong on
the international circuit as in years past. But they always have
new young players developing and a good spirit about themselves.
This year should prove no different. With Endzonis the Mixed team
in the North providing a new avenue for teams, Germany hopes to
build itself into a competitive international team and the success
of the juniors will help.
German Juniors finished third at the EUC in
2003 and fourth at Worlds 2000 in Heilbronn. The underseeded
Americans and up and coming Australians should provide challenges
to their fourth seed here.

Team’s Best Thrower
One version of many versions: If one of the
players shouts “LAAAAAAANG”, then there is Flo on the field…
Team’s Best Receiver
Do you remember “LAAAAAAANG”? Just look in the
zone, every team member will catch a very nice throw! I’m sure…
The Best Thing About Ultimate Is
Whenever the smaller juniors players
exasperate the taller and more experienced players. This happened
in a training game against the German Mixed Team: Christoph
(height: about 160cm) laid the disc over Rü’s (height: about 2
meters) shoulder to make a great breakmark pass. How? Look out for
our team and you’ll see…
