Associated Club Teams

Our team has 3 players from Discus, 4 from Liquidisc, 9 from Helsinki Ultimate Team, 1 from Sipoo Odd Stars (SOS) and 3 from Aura.

Worlds Experience

11 of our players have previously represented Finland in the open division in the Worlds and European championships. 3 players have represented Finland in the mixed division. Most players have represented their club teams at the World Club Championships.

Major Tournaments Won

This is the first time Finland is playing in the masters division. All the players still have an active role in their club teams.

How Many Ultimate Teams in Your Country in Your Division

None. There is no masters division on a national level in Finland.

Finland on Offense

Look for these players:

Tomi Bruns: A very intelligent player with huge hucks and outstanding timing on his cuts.

Marko Korhonen: The fastest player on the team. Remarkable agility and awesome physique. Look out for those famous inside-out throws.

Jouni Kukkonen: Standing at approximately two meters and having impressive aerial capabilities and speed makes him a very versatile player indeed and a challenge for all defenders.

Finland on Defense

Look for these players:

Marko Miettinen: Lots of stamina and speed. A hint to handlers: handle with care...

Olli Suurnäkki: Gravity means nothing to him. A defensive visionary.

Ville Toppila: Fast and furious. Surprises with his defensive layouts.
