Team Canada won the first ever Worlds in the Mixed division in 1998 over a controversial, capped game against USA in the Finals. Canadian mixed teams have not fared so well in the UPA Championships or recent Worlds and should not be considered a major contender for Gold.

However, all of Canadian Ultimate has been strong and these guy and girls will be no exception. Chaos is a club team from Winnipeg who won Canadian Nationals coming out of the 5th seed. 

Associated Club Team: CHAOS, Phoenix, Black Sheep, Butter, More Tricks Than Your Mom, Stella, etc. etc.

Roster Size: About 30

Team Colors: The Canadian flag is RED AND WHITE

Worlds Experience: Most of CHAOS went to Hawaii for World Clubs, we also have players that played in Germany at the previous worlds, not to mention all of our leaders have worldly experience on and off the field (Trudeau, MacDonald, Martin, etc.)

Major Tournaments Won: Too many to count, many, many first and second places (every Nationals that we attended) Hallowinona, Regina, Toontown, HoDown, etc.

How Many Ultimate Teams in Your Country in Your Division:  Lots, at Nationals there was about 16 teams.

Players to Look Out For: Jim "Lounge" Fraser (He'll sky anyone out there), Marc "GRRR" Gannon (Amazingly experienced player), Jason "Snakes" Sagnavong (THE OFFENSE), Jenith "Kenneth" Rebec (The greatest handler to step on the field), Jeff "Little Bird" Sward (The shortest handler we got!), Simon Teather (Biggest man in the game) Beware of Sir John A MacDonald (a true leader) as well as Pierre Elliot Trudeau

Team's Best Throwers: Jenith "Kenneth" Rebec, Dwayne "Faddy" McFaddin, Kim Campbell knows how to throw very well too.  There are too many to list - see roster when posted

Team's Best Receiver: Jeff "Akwac" Yuen, Jason "Snakes" Sagnavong and Glenn Murray knows how to really receive passes/disks (too many to list - see roster when posted)

Team's Favorite Turnover:  The Face Block.

Team's Favorite Spike or Non-Spike: The waggle five-hole.

The Best Thing About Ultimate Is: The intense spirit.  The ability to play gunsmoke, train tracks and human lawn bowling.
